How to Add Streaming to an Older TV

A TV that isn't "smart" can still stream just fine — it simply needs an external device to handle the app side of things, connected through an HDMI port.

What to check on the TV first

• At least one working HDMI port
• A remote that can switch inputs, or a way to do so manually
• Reasonable picture quality for the resolution you plan to stream at
